Die Temperature of Biomass Pelleting Machine

Biomass Pelleting Machine Die

As heat and pressure are the key factors of pellet production, die temperature of biomass pelleting machine is essential to pellet quality and productivity. When starting biomass pellet production, the biomass material should be slowly fed into the pelleting machine to increase die temperature. If too much material is fed into the biomass pellet making machine at start up there is a high chance of blocking the biomass pelleting machine die. This is where a high chrome die is an advantage as the chances of blocking the pelletizer die at start-up are reduced. To get the die to optimum temperature could take between several minutes to half an hour. Once the die is up to temperature, maximum productivity for that biomass material will be reached.
